(BSC) has quickly become an industry leader in the construction of OPA-90 compliant vessels, dredges, and dredging support equipment (scows, deck barges, tugs, etc.), along with bulk cargo self unloading solutions. Dredging Equipment
BSC's dredging experience dates back to 1906 and includes a wide scope and variety of vessels. Among its most recent contracts, BSC has completed a state-of-the-art 17-cubic yard backhoe dredge; a 24-inch self contained cutterhead dredge; a 5,000 cubic-meter double-trailing drag arm suction dredge; and a 7,100 cubic yard split-hull dump scow.

  • 600' x 70' floating dock
  • 225' x 39' graving dock
  • 78,000 sq. ft. fully enclosed fabrication shop, equipped with CNC plasma burning, large block fabrication and outfitting capabilities, and 170-ton overhead crane capacity
  • Automated blast and prime line equipped to handle both plate and shape
  • Fully enclosed prep and paint facility equipped to handle large sections
